Project Description
Part of the Jamaica Transportation Corporation’s program of Intermodal Enhancements for the Jamaica Transportation Center, this $12 million project transforms a series of loading docks under the LIRR viaduct underpass into 11,000 SF of retail shops and 13,000 SF of improved facilities for the Long Island Railroad employees.
In addition to the retail and employee facility the sidewalk was developed to provide an inviting connection between the future developments along 94th Avenue to the South and the Retail/Commercial area to the North.
