Eastwood Homes, the No. 58 company on the 2024 Builder 100 list, completed the acquisition of Hampton Roads, Va.-based Napolitano Homes.

“The fit was perfect for us,” Eastwood Homes president Clark Stewart said. “Napolitano Homes prioritizes family first right alongside their dedication to quality craftsmanship of their homes, and that is exactly how we do business here at Eastwood Homes. It was an easy decision to make, and one that I am very proud and excited to be a part of.”

What It Means
The acquisition gives Eastwood Homes a foothold in the Hampton Roads area, which includes Chesapeake, Franklin, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Poquoson, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Virginia Beach, and Williamsburg. According to data from the U.S. Census, Hampton Roads is the eighth-largest metro in the Southeast and the second-largest metro between Atlanta and Washington, D.C.

The expansion marks Eastwood Homes’ 10th division and its second Virginia market. The Charlotte, North Carolina-based builder has division offices in Raleigh/Durham and Greensboro in North Carolina; the Charleston, Greenville, and Columbia markets in South Carolina; the Richmond market in Virginia; and the Atlanta market in Georgia. The builder has more than 140 communities and closed 1,245 homes in 2023.
