Modern Mill announced its sustainable wood alternative ACRE is now available prefinished with its Signature Stain Collection, developed in partnership with PPG.
With these new prefinished options, builders can save time on site and extend the building season by eliminating weather-dependent field finishing.
Customers can choose from all seven signature stains: Biloxi, Amory, Walnut, ACRE Black, Laurel, Montauk Gray, and Mahogany.
“We often hear from customers that one reason they love ACRE is the ability to stain it to match prized wood species,” says Chris Guimond, CEO of Modern Mill. “With Modern Mill’s new prefinished ACRE options, customers can continue to enjoy the beauty of wood with even greater convenience.”
To complete the system, Modern Mill is also introducing color-matched Cortex Plug Kits, available in each of the seven colors in multiple pack sizes.
Made from upcycled rice hulls, ACRE offers the warmth and beauty of real wood with all the conveniences of composites and is available in siding, trim, decking, and millwork.
