Blokable was founded by real estate and tech industry veteran Aaron Holm with the mission of making housing accessible and affordable. The Seattle-based technology, development, and manufacturing company creates high-quality modular housing made of steel-framed “Bloks,” which can be delivered within 1,000 miles of its Vancouver, Wash., factory. Through its unique turnkey Housing Development as a Service platform, Blokable cuts the risk and accelerates the development of high-quality, low -cost, connected housing. Bloks are offered with a wide selection of features and finish levels in prices per square foot from $150 to $350. Each unit comes with a smart monitoring system that tracks indoor air quality and alerts owners when maintenance is needed.

The company announced this summer that it plans to soon launch its first housing developments, both in Washington state.
