Finalists Announced in 2014 Passive House Award

1 MIN READ

The 121 projects submitted to the 2014 Passive House Awards came from 21 countries with 35 of the entries being single-family houses. All entrants must be certified by the International Passive House Association (iPHA). Finalists in all five categories were named recently and include four single-family selections, plus a townhouse retrofit and an artist’s studio also representing the custom home genre. Of those six residential finalists, three of them are in the U.S.

Winners will be announced at the International Passive House Conference being held from April 25 to 26 in Aachen, Germany. If you can’t make it to Germany for the conference, you can also view the single-family finalists in the accompanying slideshow and learn more about the energy-efficient details on the Passive House Awards’ website.
