The Southeast Builders Conference (SEBC) has bestowed five Aurora Awards upon Elevate Homes’ Forge Creek at Flowers Plantation in Clayton (N.C).
The awards included two Grand Aurora recognitions from about 400 entries.
Architectural firm Housing Design Matters, Inc. brought home Grand Auroras in the Best Single Family Detached Home 2,000 to 2,499 sq. ft. for the Enthusiast model and Best Single Family Detached Home under 2,000 sq. ft. for the Virtuoso model.
Builders Design won silver in Best Interior Merchandising for Elevate’s Enthusiast, Virtuoso and Adventurer models.
Elevate Homes is Dan Ryan Builders’ active-adult brand. Forge Creek was the first community for Elevate, with Adalyn Place in Fuquay-Varina (N.C.) coming online later this year.
“When most people think about innovative home design, age-targeted, active-adult communities may not come to mind,” said Dan Ryan Builders’ VP of Branding Char Kurihara. “It was our goal with Elevate to flip that script. These awards from the SEBC are proof that we are doing that with our partners at Housing Design Matters and Builders Design.”
