February will be here soon, and it’s time to start planning to attend the 2019 NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS), which is returning to Las Vegas after a two-year stint in Orlando. IBS will be held Feb. 19-21 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The Builders’ Show will celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2019—a testament to how it continues to be an invaluable experience for building professionals in the U.S. and worldwide.
Registration is open, and NAHB members can receive either a free expo pass or a $100 discount off full registration if they register this month.
The 2019 IBS will again be co-located with the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) to host the sixth annual Design & Construction Week. The two shows are expected to attract more than 2,000 exhibiting brands whose displays will occupy over 1 million square feet of space. Being co-located with KBIS is a great two-for-one deal for IBS attendees because they have access to both exhibit floors.

Attendees can take advantage of countless learning opportunities. Those with full registration or a one-day education pass can choose from more than 130 education programs covering the gamut of residential construction. The IBS Centrals, which are free to all IBS registrants, focus on different areas of home building. And the High-Performance Building Zone will feature real-world construction demonstrations.
At our Meeting of the Members, NAHB members will be able to network with like-minded professionals and learn more about the association’s membership benefits and its robust advocacy agenda.
NAHB’s advocacy priorities will also be discussed at committee and leadership meetings. Attend these business meetings to learn what issues are on the horizon and how NAHB plans to respond.
In addition, our renowned economists will provide housing market forecasts and examine issues such as employment, home prices, production, and remodeling.
Be sure to visit the New American Home and the New American Remodel to see the innovative materials and construction methods used in these homes.
The Builders’ Show also offers many entertainment options: The show will kick off Feb. 19 with opening ceremonies featuring comedian Dana Carvey and the Blue Man Group. That evening, Drai’s Beachclub and Nightclub at the Cromwell Hotel will host the Official IBS House Party.
The Goo Goo Dolls will headline the Closing Spike Concert, during which NAHB honors its top member recruiters. Tickets will go fast, so purchase yours when you register. NAHB directors and eligible Spikes will receive two complimentary tickets.
