“Tackling the affordable housing issue is a personal passion of mine and a mission for our company,” said Gary E. Robinette, chairman and CEO, Ply Gem. “We are excited about our new partnerships with regional ambassadors, Brett Young and Lauren Alaina, and the continued partnership with Darius Rucker; all three are passionate supporters of our mission and share our dedication for helping others. Their devotion to their families, communities and fans make them ideal ambassadors for the program. Together, we look forward to connecting with their fans, our customers and partners to make a difference.”
Since 2016, Ply Gem has donated more than $1.8 million in building products and funds; and, helped to build 450 homes in more than 70 communities across the U.S.
Throughout 2018, the Home for Good project regional ambassadors, Brett Young and Lauren Alaina, will work alongside Ply Gem and other volunteers in communities like Wake County, NC; Anaheim, CA; and Philadelphia, PA – participating in neighborhood revitalization with local Habitat for Humanity affiliates.
