The New Home Co.’s Promontory at Civita project in San Diego has been awarded the Gold Award for Multifamily Community of the Year at “The Nationals,” the building industry’s premier awards program hosted during this year’s International Builders’ Show last week in Las Vegas.

Presented by the National Association of Home Builders Sales & Marketing Council, the award recognizes the most outstanding work in residential real estate planning, architecture, design, and marketing.

As part of the 230-acre master-planned community of Civita in San Diego’s Mission Valley, Promontory’s collection of attached residences features 133 three-story and single-story homes in two neighborhoods: The Heights and The Bluffs. Each of the homes include floor-to-ceiling windows for unobstructed views, great rooms and master bedrooms oriented toward the valley below, and large patios and decks for enhanced indoor–outdoor living.

In addition to the Multifamily Community of the Year award, New Home’s marketing, design, and development teams were presented with a Gold Award for Best Website for a Builder. The company shared the recognition with Woodley Architectural Group, Studio Mosaic Interior Design, C2 Collaborative Landscape Architecture, and Paolucci Salling & Martin Communication Arts.

“To be recognized by our peers with the Multifamily Community of the Year and Best Website awards on our industry’s national stage is very special,” said Joan Marcus Webb, New Home’s chief marketing officer, in a press release. “These honors reinforce our passion for great architecture, design, and customer service, and we are so proud of our entire team and talented partners.”

This year’s awards add to New Home’s continued streak of building award-winning communities in California and Arizona. Last year, the Aliso Viejo, Calif.–based company won four Community of the Year honors for various neighborhoods in Northern and Southern California.
