Daltile is adding four new marble surface design options to the ONE Quartz Surfaces Nature Series – Jasmine White and Kodiac, designed after the look of a “classic” marble surface, and Alpine Winter and Aspen Grey, which offer a more “modern” appearance.
The ONE Quartz Surfaces products are designed for use with countertops and walls, and offer strong, durable construction with low overall maintenance needs. “With quartz, consumers get the beauty of natural stone in a strong, durable, hygienic product that requires little-to-no maintenance and stands up to the demanding conditions of daily life,” says Roy Viana, director of natural stone and slab for Dal-Tile Corporation.
The Jasmine White model is inspired by Carrara Gioia Italian marble, and features a cool white background and thin, short veins. Kodiak has a warmer white background with softer veins, suitable for use in “modern contemporary settings”, according to Viana. Alpine Winter has a larger crystal grain marble visual, while Aspen Grey features a finer grain with wide movement across the slab.
