When budgets are tight, as they are now, products that look good and are reasonably priced can make a huge difference to customers and builders alike. Josh Rosenthal, director of marketing for Rosenthal Homes, says two such offerings have impressed him recently.
His company started using James Hardie’s HardieTrim with ColorPlus Technology because it’s cost-effective and offers a range of benefits. One big advantage, he says, “is that we’re able to order it prefinished.” Plus, “if we’re using the company’s siding products, we can use the same coordinating trim,” which offers a sustainable alternative to PVC, he adds.

The products are “energy-efficient and durable,” Rosenthal says, making it easy for homeowners to avoid costly “full-line, high-end” options. “Even with a custom home,” he adds, “you get a good bang for your buck.”
