Trendmaker Homes, a unit of the TRI Pointe Group (NYSE:TPH), has broken ground on a new section of homes at Meyer Ranch, a new approximately 700-acre master-planned community located in the Northeast San Antonio metro city of New Braunfels. Trendmaker will build a total of 47 single-family homes on 55’ lots with the grand opening anticipated for April 2020.
“The San Antonio-New Braunfels market experienced a 17% population expansion in a recent eight-year span with job growth of nearly 21% during that time,” said Terry Shuffler, vice president at Trendmaker Homes Austin. “That kind of Texas-sized growth and opportunity obviously translates into strong housing demand, which makes our home building project at Meyer Ranch all the more exciting.”
Catering to young families, professionals, empty nesters and retirees, the collection of Trendmaker homes at Meyer Ranch will offer six new, bright, open floor plans to choose from, including downstairs master suites and flex and bonus rooms. Ranging in size from 1,923 square feet to 2,986 square feet, the new one- and two-story homes are anticipated to start from the mid $200,000s.
To be built in the first phase adjacent to Trendmaker’s home sites, Meyer Ranch’s “Community Green” amenity center will include a covered pavilion, nature playground, string light patio, dog play area, amphitheater and open lawn. When completed, the Randolph Todd Development master-planned community will feature more than 1,500 homes by six builders; Trendmaker will be the only builder on 55’ lots in the first phase.
Located just off Hwy. 46, Meyer Ranch offers easy access to Comal ISD schools, New Braunfel’s quaint downtown, and Northeast San Antonio including major employment centers along Loop 1604. Austin is only one hour away. Residents will enjoy a variety of local shopping, dining and entertainment amenities as well as many recreational options.
