Pelican Products has added four new cases in longer and deeper size configurations to the Pelican Air Case line: 1506, 1556, 1606 and 1626.
The new cases’ form factors provide space for fragile equipment, with enough room to store cinema-grade cameras upright. All cases feature a watertight O-ring gasket, crushproof and dustproof exterior, stainless steel hasp protectors, over-molded rubber handles and tough latches. Each one is tested for impact, drop, submersion and extreme temperature resistance. The 1556, 1606 and 1626 cases feature a pull trolley and wheels, which have been roll tested over 914 meters.
“As we continue to grow the extremely popular Pelican Air case line, we are listening closely to the needs of our customers and we’re confident that these new sizes meet and exceed those requirements,” says Vince LaDuca, product manager for Pelican Products’ Commercial and Government Division.
The Air case line will launch with two interior configuration options: the Classic Pick N’ Pluck Foam, pre-scored and manually customizable, and No Foam for custom interiors. Two more are set to launch in early 2020: the Padded Divider configuration, which incorporates customizable padded dividers with Velcro straps, and the TrekPak divider system, available only for the 1506, which features durable, waterproof, closed-cell foam laminated to corrugated panels.
The new sizes are currently available in black. Yellow, orange, and gray editions will launch in early 2020.
