Fischer Homes has broken ground for a new single-family community in Jefferson County, Kentucky, located off of Flat Rock Road in Louisville.

Bridle Run is a $60 million and will consist of 201 home sites. Buyers can choose from more than 20 floor plans, including five-level designs, ranch and two-story homes with first-floor owner’s retreats. Residents can enjoy a picnic area and walking paths throughout. The new home community is adjacent to Polo Fields Golf & Country Club and is near Long Run Park.

“Bridle Run is located in one of the fastest-growing areas in Louisville and is consistent with our strategic growth objectives,” said Jay Smith, Louisville market president at Fischer Homes. “This expansion provides Fischer Homes with the opportunity to offer a variety of home designs from the Fischer Homes Design Team and outstanding customer experience to even more new home buyers in the Jefferson County region.”

Bridle Run is in the Jefferson County Public School District – Stopher Elementary, Crosby Middle School, and Eastern High School. With easy access to both I-64 and I-265, the community is easily accessible to employers in the downtown Louisville area.

Site development work on the property has already begun with the construction of new homes expected to start in the spring of 2020.
