KB Home (NYSE: KBH) on Friday announced the opening of Bluma and Auburn, two new-home communities situated in Santa Clarita’s highly desirable Vista Canyon master plan.
Vista Canyon is a new, sustainable, mixed-use, master-planned community close to major commuter corridors, including Highway 14, Interstate 5 and the Vista Canyon Metrolink station, allowing for easy commuting throughout Los Angeles and Ventura Counties.
“Our two new communities, Bluma and Auburn at Vista Canyon, are picturesque collections of personalized new homes situated in scenic eastern Santa Clarita,” said Glen Longarini, president, KB Home’s Los Angeles and Ventura County division. “KB Home’s two new-home communities will include access to planned parks, trails and open space, and are close to prime shopping, dining and entertainment, including Westfield Valencia Town Center, Six Flags Magic Mountain, the 130-acre Central Park and Santa Clarita Sports Complex.”
Vista Canyon’s proposed resort-style community amenities include four miles of pedestrian and bike trails, tennis courts, a 10-acre park, fitness center and vibrant Town Center, which is intended to serve as a central gathering place featuring shopping, restaurants and open spaces for concerts, exhibits and other events. Additionally, the new homes are close to outdoor recreation, including hiking, biking and equestrian trails in the Angeles National Forest and golfing at the Sand Canyon Country Club. Vista Canyon is also situated near award-winning Santa Clarita schools.
The two-story floor plans at Bluma at Vista Canyon range in size from approximately 1,400 to 1,650 square feet and offer three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths and two-car garages. These new KB homes offer open floor plans, spacious kitchens and ample storage space. Pricing begins in the low $500,000s.
KB Home’s Auburn at Vista Canyon offers two-story homes with up to five bedrooms and three baths and range from approximately 1,850 to 2,300 square feet. These new KB homes are situated on large home sites and feature spacious great rooms, gourmet kitchens and expansive master suites. Pricing begins in the $550,000s.
