These homes from Frank Betz Associates all include master suites on the main level – a very popular layout choice. They also have new photography so that you can see how the designer’s vision came to life.

Southern Charm

A wraparound porch adds serious Southern charm to this narrow-lot design. That porch opens to the interior at several points: the vaulted entry, the bright dining room (via French doors), and near the kitchen’s walk-in pantry. The heart of the home displays an open layout, with the kitchen’s cooktop island letting owners face family and friends while preparing meals. A patio sits behind the family room. Occupying the entire left wing of the home, the master suite boasts a large walk-in closet (with windows), two sinks, a separate tub and shower, and a tray ceiling in the spacious bedroom. Upstairs, two of the three additional bedrooms share a generous Jack and Jill bathroom, while bedroom four enjoys a private bath. A recreation room makes a great playroom, homeschool space, or media room. A bonus room offers more space on the top level. See more images, information, and the floor plan.

The Right Stuff

Here’s a home with all the right modern amenities: a super-open layout that focuses on the kitchen, an easy-to-reach master suite on the main level (check out the big shower!), and lots of outdoor living. The curving island adds space for casual meals in the kitchen, with the deck and covered porch nearby. In the master suite, a private sitting space also opens outside, making it easy to step out with a book and a cup of coffee. Owners who work from home will appreciate the secluded office. Upstairs, one of the secondary bedrooms offers a private suite and the other two share a Jack and Jill bath. See more images, information, and the floor plan.
