WHY IT WORKED: This high-growth area outside Tampa, Fla., was ripe for a luxury townhome project, especially one that offered young professionals, retirees, and empty-nesters the living space of a single-family home with little maintenance. Four intimate, gated enclaves ensure privacy as well as views of a heavily wooded nature preserve.
- Three bedrooms and two and a half baths come standard with each of the three floor plans; extras on some of the plans include vaulted ceilings, dens, game rooms, and even an elevator.
- More than 40 percent of the community’s acreage was set aside for conservation areas, which have been enhanced with specially designed birdhouses to attract indigenous species.
- Townhomes are built in clusters of two, three, four, or six residences and are grouped into four enclaves, each with its own gated entrance.
An elevated boardwalk meanders through the nature preserve, connecting two of the four enclaves and providing residents access to a heated community pool.
