Royal Building Products has added a new, 5-inch smooth clapboard offering to its Celect Cellular Composite Siding and Celect Canvas Unpainted Siding lines.
The new clapboard profile features an interlocking seam design, which protects against moisture intrusion and almost completely masks the seam. The boards are available either unpainted or in 15 fade-resistant colors in a smooth brushed finish.
The unpainted Celect Canvas edition features the same brushed wood-grain finish as traditional Celect products, but allows users to customize their siding color using any exterior vinyl-safe paint shade within the recommended light reflectance value of 50 or above.
