Peter Calthorpe on Green Urbanism

Back in the Carter Administration, when I was studying passive solar design and other paleo-green subjects, Peter Calthorpe was a leading thinker in sustainable architecture and urban planning, and he has not been idle in the decades since. His newest book, Urbanism in the Age of Climate, puts sustainable urban development at the center of the fight against climate change.

I’m going to request a copy for a review here, but in the meantime here’s an interview with the author.
