After postponing a public model homes grand opening in late March during the COVID-19 health crisis, The New Home Company (NYSE: NWHM) has sold 14 new homes at Sterling, a collection of two-story, single-family residences at Esencia in Rancho Mission Viejo. The builder utilized virtual tours, social media and its Online Sales Concierege program, as well as highly personalized private tours, to present the model homes and communicate with buyers.
“The health crisis made it imperative that we implement solutions to keep our home buyers and our team members safe, clearly our number one priority,” said Joan Webb, chief marketing officer. “The success at Sterling has shown us that even during this unprecedented time, there is a true demand for family-oriented, well-designed homes in south Orange County. We are pleased with the initial sales success at Sterling and we hope it sends a message of confidence to both our community and our industry.”
Sterling is the final neighborhood to open at Esencia and will be the last new homes built in Rancho Mission Viejo until early 2022. At build-out, it will contain 62 homes.
The homes of Sterling offer a combination of size and value. Depending on family size and lifestyle preferences, Sterling buyers can choose from four-bedroom, loft or potential five-bedroom floor plans in the popular Transitional and Interpretive Farmhouse architectural styles created by the architecture firm of Bassenian Lagoni. The homes feature up to 2,595 square feet of living space and are priced from the mid $800,000s to the mid $900,000s.
Sterling homeowners will enjoy the indoor/outdoor ranch lifestyle of Esencia with an abundance of community amenities, including The Hilltop Club community center, The Pavilion gymnasium, Sports Park and Oak Canyon Preserve. Serving residents is the Esencia K-8 and Tesoro High School, both part of the award-winning Capistrano Unified School District.
