Sigma Design, the makers of eZ, a live online meeting software product, have recently added the ability to distribute software online, which makes it simpler for the company to sell the product as an online service. Now, instead of charging $399 for each user, eZ costs $99 a month for four concurrent users and $29 a month for each additional user. Charlie White, the company’s CEO, says that builders may add on as many users as they like, but they are restricted to four concurrent participants at any one time. Some other new features include instant messaging within eZ and enhanced document sharing. Most standard CAD formats are supported by eZ, and eZ also lets builders make annotations online.
