KB Home (NYSE: KBH) on Wednesday announced the opening of Williams Ranch Preserve, a new neighborhood located in Richmond Texas near Highway 59 and Grand Parkway.

The new community offers one- or two-story homes ranging in size from 1,836 to 3,028 square feet, all with a two-car-garage, stone and brick facades. All can also be customized, with options including covered patios, gourmet kitchens, additional bedrooms and volume ceilings.

Pricing begins in the $220,000s.

Located just west of Sugar Land and further west of Houston, Williams Ranch Preserve is an easy commute to several major business centers and large regional employers. Planned on-site amenities include a community park, playground, and swimming pool. Nearby are Brazos Town Center, First Colony Mall, and Sugar Land Town Square. Greatwood Golf Club is only a short drive away. The community will be served by the well-regarded Lamar Independent School District.

All KB homes, including those at Williams Ranch Preserve, are ENERGY STAR® certified, meaning they are designed to be more energy efficient than most typical new and resale homes available in the area.
