Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, BUILDER’s second annual Future Place has transitioned to a virtual event. The conference, which was originally scheduled for Oct. 26 to 27 in Dallas, will take place online over the same days and will cover all things impacting master-planned communities today and in the future.
Attendees will get a holistic view of the nation’s most revolutionary master-planned developments with executives from Republic Property Co., Southstar Development, and Tavistock Development Co.
Meyers Research managing principal Tim Sullivan will have a one-on-one conversation with Emile Haddad, chairman and CEO of FivePoint Holdings and this year’s Legends Award winner.
In addition, Ross Perot Jr., chairman of The Perot Cos. and Hillwood, will keynote the virtual event and will share his organization’s strategic approach to success. Hillwood is ranked as one of the top residential, commercial, and industrial real estate developers in the country.
Sessions also will delve into creating the right experience for customers, redesigning retail space for better value, and relying on sustainable approaches to create smarter communities. The economic outlook and opportunity for master plans, the capital to finance them, shrinking footprints, community health and well-being, and the quickly growing single-family for rent sector round out the virtual agenda.
Attendance at Future Place is reserved exclusively for builders, land developers, architects, engineers, and capital providers in the housing industry. Attendees can watch live or later on-demand; registration is $149. To view the full agenda or register, visit https://futureplace.builderonline.com.
