Cooper-Hewitt National Design Awards

1 MIN READ

Tomorrow, the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Award winners and finalists for 2011 will be honored at the White House, just a few blocks from our office. First Lady Michelle Obama will host the event, which will honor firms and people such as Architecture Research Office, Shelton, Mindel & Associates, and Dan Rockhill (along with designers from other disciplines.)

Another honoree, a finalist in the Interior Design category, is none other than Aidlin Darling Design. I’m a big fan of this firm’s organic yet refined-feeling work, and I love all the projects of theirs that I’ve written about–particularly this San Francisco loft. So kudos to Aidlin Darling on this prestigious award!
