Ortal has introduced a new fireplace series, the Wilderness Collection, featuring the manufacturer’s Firelog Technology—a patent pending gas delivery system that flows directly through the log media. According to the manufacturer, this system is designed to deliver a taller flame that more closely resembles the look and feel of a log campfire than traditional “ribbon” style burners in many gas fireplaces.

The Wilderness Collection fireplaces offer flexible venting arrangements that enable the fireplaces to be installed anywhere, indoors and outdoors. The structure’s built-in Cool Wall Technology mitigates the unit’s heat, allowing for artwork and electronics to be hung around the fireplace. Fire operation can be managed using a Wi-Fi connection via a smartphone app, as well as internal lighting to provide ambiance even when the fire is not turned on.

“The luxury-home market is in a constant search for the best of the best, and our Wilderness Collection fireplaces are the epitome of top of the line,” says Kevin Rantin, vice president of sales and marketing for Ortal Fireplaces. “We expect the high-end designers and architects our dealer partners work with to gravitate toward the Wilderness Collection and make it standard for premium residential and commercial designs.” ortalheat.com
