Invented a product to combat thermal bridging.

Lahnie Johnson’s invention, Thermablok aerogel, could change the way builders insulate houses. One thin strip of the NASA-approved material applied to each stud before drywall installation prevents thermal bridging and increases a wall’s R-value by more than 40 percent.

Thermablok is 100% recyclable, impervious to moisture/ mold, and unaffected by age. Housing developers with a focus on green, energy-conscious solutions are using the technology for energy conservation and lower CO2 emissions.
