Sales are now underway for the new villas at Indigo, a gated, resort-style community in Lakewood Ranch by Neal Communities.

The builder recently introduced the two new villa floor plans to the neighborhood. The larger Sandcastle boasts three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a den. The Tidewinds features two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a den. Created with influences from Coastal and British West Indies architectural styles, the maintenance-assisted homes include a two-car garage and covered lanai and are outfitted with tile roofs and paver drives.

Each villa purchase from Neal Communities includes a maintenance-assistance package, which includes lawn, trees and shrub maintenance, fertilizer, exterior pest control, repainting of the exterior and eventual roof replacement.

Starting in the high $200,000s, the Indigo villas will have their own separate pool and amenities center while also still having access to the clubhouse.

Opened in May 2015, the neighborhood offers a variety of home designs and floor plans that embrace Island, Spanish, Tuscan and Country French architectural designs. Once completed, Indigo will have a total of 580 maintenance-assisted homes on 151.32 acres. With 14 floor plans to choose from, home designs range from 1,407 to 2,908 square feet.

Club Indigo, Indigo’s $1.6 million recreation center, employs a full-time lifestyle coordinator and features areas for community events, a culinary kitchen, fitness room and movement studio, resort-style pool with cabanas, spa, pickle ball and bocce ball courts.

Residents have access to recreational amenities, including 150 miles of walking and biking trails, nature preserves and parks and gun, polo and cricket clubs. An activities director is on staff and puts together a full calendar of ongoing and special events, from paint parties and presentations to card games and outings. Residents can join the book club and bunco club or gather poolside for wine down Wednesday events.

Located at the intersection of Pope Road and 44th Avenue East, Indigo is surrounded by mature oak trees intentionally preserved by the builder. The community is located in the heart of Lakewood Ranch, near shopping, amenities and A-rated schools.
