Schumacher Homes Opens New Model Home in Akron, Ohio

The model shows the custom builder's aging-in-place design capabilities.

Canton, Ohio-based Schumacher Homes has a opened a new model home in Akron.

The builder’s Akron Office builds custom homes on their customers’ home sites in Carroll, Cuyahoga, Guernsey, Lorain, Medina, Noble, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas, Wayne and Washington Counties in Ohio, and Pleasants and Tyler Counties in West Virginia. The office offers the builder’s Charleston A, and five other model homes.

“The Charleston A showcases the latest in architectural and interior design trends,” Mary Becker, vp/sales and marketing for Schumacher Homes said in a press release. “It’s located adjacent to the Akron Schumacher Homes Design Studio, a one-stop-shop inspiration, design and building needs that lets you see and touch every option for your new home, which is unlike any other builders’ process.”

The Schumacher Homes Charleston A is a forward thinking layout displaying an aging in place design that provides for some of the unique needs that a homeowner may have later in life. The exterior of this home provides a covered back porch great for relaxing. The interior features include laminate floors throughout, a pocket office, and a walk-in pantry.
