Book Alert: A New History of the Home

If you were to mine the pile of books by my side of the bed, you’d find roughly equal tonnage of history and architecture. If Walls Could Talk: An Intimate History of the Home promises a check in both columns. The companion volume to a BBC series, it seems to have been available in England-and as an e-book here-since last spring. It’s now available in hardcover in the U.S.
