Crescent Homes, Charleston S.C.’s largest private home builder, recently launched a philanthropy program called GIVE. The program will donate $250 toward a local Charleston charity with every home sale within the 14 active communities in the tri-county area, with no annual cap.
GIVE will partner with five different local non-profits every quarter. Crescent Homes home buyers can select which group to support, and a donation of $250 will be given in their name to the foundation of their choice.
“We are local Charleston business,” said Lee Miller, vp/marketing. “We love this place we call home and being part of its evolution and growth, so what better way to do that than involving our home buyers? We want to build beautiful, quality homes, but also help establish a strong sense of community with each home or neighborhood we build. This allows us to do both. GIVE is our way of giving back to the community that supports us.”
GIVE launched earlier this month and this quarter’s focus will support Camp Happy Days, Charleston Animal Society, Habitat for Humanity, Be A Mentor, and Ronald McDonald House during the first quarter.
