Shea Homes wants its residents at its 55+ Trilogy communities to do more ‘clubbing.’ But not in nightclubs.

According to a recent study conducted by Shea, 67% of its prospective buyers in the active adult space feel that now is an opportune time to both buy and sell a home. It has found that potential new home shoppers seeking to relocate within 55 plus communities say lifestyle execution is a chief priority when selecting their next home.

That’s where the clubs come in. Trilogy designs clubs that offer trend-based programming intended to enhance homeowners’ social lives as well as experiential programs to participate in outside of their communities. Shea Homes has opened eight Trilogy branded resort clubs over the past three years, doubling its portfolio of amenitized communities across the U.S.

“We have seen prospective consumers in our space with the intent of purchasing a new home more now than the last few years,” said Jeff McQueen, president of Shea Homes Active Lifestyle Communities. “Trilogy brand shoppers are not just looking to move, they are seeking to make more friends, try new things and ultimately be happy. With consumer confidence trending upward, it’s our responsibility to meet the needs of our buyer. Our resort-caliber clubs offer amenities and rich experiences that we believe surpass expectations.”

Shea Homes launched its Trilogy brand almost 20 years ago and has developed or managed has developed or managed 24 master planned, resort communities, including 16 currently selling across Arizona, California, Washington, Nevada, North Carolina, Virginia and Florida. The company has recently opened resort clubs at Trilogy properties across the country including: Tehaleh®, The Polo Club, Ocala Preserve, Lake Frederick, and Lake Norman. The home builder will open its newest club at Verde River™ this winter.

All clubs showcase the character of their surrounding areas while providing homeowners with a true resort-caliber lifestyle. Trilogy clubs can include but are not limited to amenities such as hiking trails, culinary studios, championship golf, pickleball and sport courts, full-service day spas, high-tech fitness facilities with personal training, resort-quality pools, working art studios and club restaurants that are led by Executive Chefs. All Executive Chefs have extensive experience in leading progressive culinary establishments across the country prior to spearheading food and beverage programs at Trilogy.

Trilogy’s lifestyle amenities are facilitated by hospitality-trained teams. Each Trilogy-managed club has an on-staff Lifestyle Director who works with a National Lifestyle leader as well as a National Food and Beverage Director.
