Big telecommunications companies are continuing the trend of partnering with big builders/developers. Sprint announced in November that it had entered an agreement with SouthWood, a 3,200-acre master planned community in Tallahassee, Fla., ( www.southwoodflorida.com) that will include 4,700 homes when it’s completed in 2020. Sprint will provide each resident with a DSL Internet connection. Sprint says this is the first such agreement it has signed.
