By R.E. Blake Evans. More than 100 home building companies have completed technical and design reviews for EarthCraft House, the green building program of Atlanta’s HBA. EarthCraft has certified 500 new homes in the region. A new green multifamily community prototype is also under construction for 2002. Three area master planned communities are also now EarthCraft communities, requiring all builders to meet energy efficiency and green building guidelines.
