By Iris Richmond. Industry veteran L.J. Edgcomb becomes head of Pulte Homes’ Southern California division. Prior to joining Pulte, Edgcomb spent more than four years as president of the Orange County division at John Laing Homes.

After 30 years of employment with Fleetwood Enterprises (NYSE:FLE), Nelson W. Potter resigned as president and CEO of the Riverside, Calif.-based company, a leading producer and retailer of manufactured housing.

The board named David S. Engelman, a Fleetwood director since 1999, as interim president and CEO.

Richard C. Gozon retired from Weyerhaeuser Co. after serving eight years as executive vice president of pulp, paper, and packaging. James R. Keller becomes senior vice president of containerboard packaging and recycling. Two former Willamette employees join the company’s senior management team: Michael R. Onustockand and Marvin D. Cooper.

Bert Selva

Shea Homes’ new president and CEO is Bert Selva, formerly president of the company’s Colorado division. Chetter Latcham, Shea’s former vice president and general manager, replaces Selva. The Walnut, Calif.-based company is the largest privately held home builder in the country.
