Mark Boud

Mark Boud is the Principal of Real Estate Economics (REE) and Senior Vice President & Chief Economist of Metrostudy, a Hanley Wood company. Mr. Boud formally organized REE in 1995. He and his team are heavily involved in the analysis of commercial and residential real estate markets through the United States. Mr. Boud's modeled forecasts and analytics are trusted by major builders, land developers and capital groups and financial institutions. Mr. Boud is an industry leader, and his forecasts and commentary have been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Forbes and other major newspapers, magazines and industry publications. Mr. Boud is a popular public speaker and industry panelist, and is actively involved in many building industry trade organizations. Mr. Boud’s memberships include; the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the Building Industry Association, the Sales and Marketing Council, the Southern California Real Estate Research Council, and the Northern California Real Estate Research Council. Mr. Boud is a graduate of Brigham Young University and holds a degree in Economics with a Minor in English Literature.
