R. Bird Anderson Jr.

R. Bird Anderson, Jr. is an executive vice president and head of Home Builder Banking for the Commercial Real Estate Group at Wells Fargo. In this role, he is involved with banking services provided to regional home builders and land developers in offices across key markets in the U.S., as well as the national/public home builder client base. Anderson joined Wachovia, predecessor to Wells Fargo, in 1985 after graduating with a BA from Vanderbilt University where he double-majored in history and economics. From 2009 until moving into his current role, Anderson managed a unit of the Wells Fargo Real Estate Managed Asset Group focused on home builder and residential project restructurings, workouts, and modifications.
