Missouri-based Gastineau Log Homes will soon be fabricating and shipping log homes for construction in China. According to a press release, company president Lynn Gastineau traveled last month to China, along with Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon, where she signed an agreement with Shanghai Weiqui Industrial Co.to supply a 5,500 square foot log building that will serve as that company’s model home. –b.d.s.
