Custom Home’s Annual Directions Conference Launches Final Session

1 MIN READ

The fourth and final session of Custom Home’s Directions Virtual Conference launched this week. This latest session, presented by Karen L. Braitmayer, FAIA, of Studio Pacifica, focuses on the growing importance of accessible design. While currently considered a special design discipline, accessible design will need to be at the forefront of builders’ minds going forward, and Braitmayer reviews why and how.

All four Directions sessions are free and can be viewed at your convenience. Each presentation—designed to expand a custom builder’s range of services or to streamline operations—is delivered by custom builders or architects who are experts on these topics. They share personal success stories and strategies that worked to build their own businesses in the hopes of helping others in the industry. In addition to learning the importance of accessible design, the sessions also provide tips on building projects outside your area, a rundown of digital tools to improve efficiency, and advice on how to expand your identity using social media.

Directions 2011: The Master Class II is the third annual virtual conference from Custom Home. The conference was created to help custom builders incorporate more efficient business systems and techniques to make your company stand out and allow you to better compete. Free registration along with a complete agenda and speaker bios are available at www.directionsconf.com.
