David Weekley Homes is the nation’s largest private home builder. Its also one of the “30 Best Workplaces to Retire From,” ranking 27th on the list released by FORTUNE magazine and Great Place to Work.
The list, which is derived from the “100 Best Companies to Work For” list, uses survey results from employees nearing retirement age at more than 600 companies to disclose how they rate their workplace.
David Weekley Homes ranked 17th on the “100 Best Companies to Work For®” list, the company’s 10th time on the list. The builder also earned a spot on several other lists in 2015, including “10 Best Companies for Baby Boomers,” “10 Great Workplaces for Millennials,” “Best Companies for Veterans” and “Best Workplaces for Camaraderie.”

Companies on the “100 Best Workplaces to Retire From” list excel in providing great employee experiences and benefits for employees nearing retirement age, and creating environments that retain younger employees, based on results of top Great Rated’s Trust Index employee survey scores from employees nearing retirement age, according to the news release.
