There are a myriad of problems builders must overcome to be successful in 2016. On the operations side, labor and staff resources are insufficient to support the growth potential of housing demand. All the while, margin pressure is increasing as land, labor, and material costs increase at higher rates than home prices. To overcome those problems, a new mindset must be developed – one that values velocity as much as margin. It’s easier said than done, but this presentation lays out the tools to make builder successful.
