KB Home announced that Brian Kunec has been promoted to president of the builder’s Las Vegas division. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s home-building operations across the region, from land acquisition and construction, to sales and customer service.

Brian’s predecessor, Rob McGibney, who served as Las Vegas division president for more than five years, was promoted to regional general manager of KB Home’s Arizona business, and is now based out of Phoenix.

“We are pleased to promote Brian Kunec to head one of KB Home’s most dynamic divisions,” said Matt Mandino, regional president of KB Home in a press release. “Brian joined KB Home nearly a year ago as executive vice president, and brings a wealth of unique local and national home-building knowledge to our business. I believe his broad experience and proven leadership will be invaluable as KB Home continues to grow in Las Vegas.”

Kunec has more than a decade of residential construction experience with major home builders across the nation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Economics from Lafayette College in Pennsylvania, and currently serves on the board of the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association.
