M/I Extends D.C.-Area Promotion

M/I Homes Washington D.C. division said Tuesday it was extending its “Really, Really Big DEAL” promotion that began in June through the end of July in its Maryland and Virginia communities.

As part of the summer promotion, homebuyers get receive a free option package on to-be-built homes valued up to $37,000. Complimentary upgrades will include birch cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, hardwood kitchen floors, and half-price sunroom or 3-level extensions.

The company is also giving away five iPad 2s to people who “like” M/I Homes on Facebook and/or register in an M/I Homes sales office.

The promotion has a charitable hook as well. M/I will have charitable donation boxes at each of its onsite sales offices to accept gently used clothing in its continuing support of HomeAid Northern Virginia and Women Giving Back. HomeAid Northern Virginia, founded by members of the Northern Virginia Building Industry Association, builds and renovates homeless shelters, transitional houses, food banks, medical clinics, counseling centers, and other facilities in order to help homeless people achieve stability. It has completed over 45 projects valued at over $10 million.
