The Next 100, BUILDER’s list of the top 101-200 builders in the country by closing, is always a bellwether of the health of the residential construction industry. Builders move on and off the list more frequently than they do the BUILDER 100 and every year there is a new batch of up-and-coming firms to compete with tried-and-true companies.
This year, a Florida builder has topped the list of the fastest growers in the Next 100. Targeting an active adult demographic, Vero Beach-based GHO Homes experienced 102.50% growth from 2015 to 2017, growing from 120 to 243 closings in two years.
