The NAHB’s 2011 Best in American Living Awards (BALA) is open for entries through Sept. 1, with late fee entries accepted until Sept. 15. Projects can be submitted in 39 residential categories including custom, spec, multifamily, affordable, remodeling, interiors, production, and green design. In October, judges will confer platinum, gold, and silver awards on selected projects, which will be honored on Feb. 9 during the 2012 International Builders’ Show in Orlando. Winners will also be featured by our sister publication, Builder, with all projects presented on www.builderonline.com, and several highlighted in the February 2012 issue.
