Your Wealthy Clients

1 MIN READ

According to this radio interview with two scholars at the Center on Wealth and Philanthropy at Boston College, there are over 120,000 families in the U.S. whose net worth exceeds $25 million. More than 10,000 families are worth over $100 million each. As I listened, it occurred to me that these two social scientists, who study the lives of the very wealthy, should have interviewed some of my contacts, because few professions offer a closer view of their subjects than those of residential architecture and custom building. Through my work, I too, get a glimpse inside that world, but I still learned a few things from this program. It’s worth a listen. Not all of your clients are among the super wealthy, but virtually all of the super wealthy are potential residential architecture and custom building clients. And the more you know about your clientele the better.
