10-Year-Old Internet Sensation Helps Sell Modular Homes

Charlie Stone, whose dancing videos have gone viral on the Internet, will appear in Clayton Homes' TV ads.

Tennessee-based Clayton Homes, one of the largest builders of manufactured, modular and site-built homes in America, has kicked off its year-end clearance retail event, “Bust a Move.”

The sale, which will run through the end of 2016, provides home buyers the opportunity to purchase new Clayton homes at the lowest-prices of the year. The year-end promotion will be supported by a national television ad campaign featuring internet dancing sensation Charlie Stone of Knoxville, Tenn. Clayton Homes chose 10-year-old Stone to be part of its television commercial promoting the “Bust a Move” clearance event. Stone first gained internet fame after a social media video of him expertly mimicking a Patrick Swayze dance routine went viral. Stone’s incredible dance moves even earned him an appearance on the TODAY Show. Now, he’ll be showcasing his rhythm in this newest Clayton Homes television ad.

In 2015, Clayton built more than 34,000 homes.
