CalAtlantic Homes on Wednesday announced its 2016 national corporate sponsorship of Marine Toys for Tots Foundation and the launch of its annual nationwide fund-raising campaign to spread joy this holiday season to the 15.5 million U.S. children living in poverty. It also will donate $25,000.

Now through Sunday, December 11, home shoppers are welcome to donate new, unwrapped toys at any of the Company’s 565 model home communities across the country.

“Bringing cheer to children and families in need during the holidays is a wonderful cause that the entire CalAtlantic Homes team is proud to support,” said Larry Nicholson, CalAtlantic Homes president and CEO.

Since 1947, Marines have distributed more than 476 million toys to more than 223 million needy children. Over its lifespan, Toys for Tots has supplemented local toy collections with more than 108 million toys, valued at more than $800 million. While the Marines coordinate and manage the program, the Foundation’s success depends on the support of the local community and the kindness of people who donate toys.
