Los Angeles–based Pardee Homes is taking its environmentally friendly philosophy on the road, switching to hybrid autos in “selected field vehicles.” As leases come up for renewal on company cars, Pardee is moving to Ford Escape Hybrid SUVs. The first nine will be used by company couriers and customer service managers in Orange and Valencia counties.
