KB Opens Communities Near S.F. and Jacksonville/St. Augustine

Homes out west start in the high $900K range, low $200s in Florida

Just in time for the kickoff of the spring selling season, KB Home (NYSE: KBH) was out Wednesday morning with announcements of two community openings, one in the San Francisco metro and the other in Jacksonville/St. Augustine area. Owing to location, the communities are at opposite ends of the price spectrum.

Out West, KB unvelied The Vista and The Row at Wellington Heights, a hilltop master-plan community featuring views of Lake Merced, the Pacific Ocean, and the Farallon Islands. Located near Interstate 280 and the Daly City BART station, the two neighborhoods are within 15 miles of both downtown San Francisco and San Francisco International Airport, and are just minutes from San Francisco State University.

The Wellington Heights master-plan community includes two distinct styles of homes —The Vista and The Row—featuring desirable price points and design features such as open floor plans, spacious kitchens, large game rooms and attached secure garages with interior access. The three-story homes at The Row range in size from 2,209 to 2,781 square feet, with up to four bedrooms, and three-and-a-half baths. Pricing begins from the low-$1,000,000s.

The Vista features two- and three-story townhome-style condominiums ranging in size from 1,234 to 2,052 square feet, with up to five bedrooms and four baths. Pricing begins from the high-$900,000s.

Residents at Wellington Heights will find themselves a short drive away from excellent shopping at Stonestown Galleria, Westlake Shopping Center and Serramonte Center. Additionally, the recently improved Crocker Amazon Park, where residents can enjoy sport courts and fields, playground equipment, dog-friendly areas and a community garden, is less than two miles away. Golf aficionados can tee off at several nearby golf clubs, including The Olympic Club, San Francisco Golf Club and Lake Merced Golf Club.

KB also announced the grand opening of Southshore at Bannon Lakes, a commuter-friendly Central St. Johns community that offers easy access to Interstate 95 and Highway 1 and exclusive resident amenities.

Situated less than 20 minutes from major Jacksonville employment centers and downtown St. Augustine, Southshore at Bannon Lakes is also just minutes away from World Golf Village and St. Augustine Outlets, Jacksonville’s only outlet mall.

Features at Southshore at Bannon Lakes will include an extensive 6.9 acre amenity center featuring a 4,000 square foot club house with large covered porch and 5,000 square foot swimming pool and kids’ splash pads. Residents will also enjoy a fitness center, playground, dog park, as well as tennis, sport and pickle ball courts. Surrounded by nature preserves to the north and to the east, Southshore at Bannon Lakes is only a thirty-minute drive from Anastasia State Park. School-aged children can attend highly-rated Mill Creek Elementary School, Pacetti Bay Middle School, and Allen D. Nease High School.

KB Home is offering 13 one- and two-story floor plans in two distinctive collections — the Executive Series and the Classic Series — with homes that range in size from 1,342 to 3,052 square feet, and can include up to 6 bedrooms and 4 baths. Pricing begins in the low-$200,000s.

The homes in both communities, like all KB homes, are Energy Star and WaterSense certified.
