Lennar Orlando has renewed its partnership with the Florida Cup, the largest international soccer event in the state, for the third year running. Eight matches between eight of the world’s top soccer clubs are being held now through Jan. 20 in stadiums across the state.

A founding partner for the event, Lennar will provide luxury accommodations for many international players, owners, and officials at ChampionsGate, an exclusive sports-oriented resort community in Orlando, Fla. In addition, live event broadcasts will take place poolside at Lennar’s Oasis Club at ChampionsGate. Lennar leadership recognized an opportunity to reach a broad audience through partnering on the Florida Cup, which attracts many spectators and is televised live across the world.

“We recognized how soccer and the 68 million visitors coming to Orlando each year was a way to expose our Resort Collection to a passionate and loyal soccer fan base,” says Brock Nicholas, Lennar Orlando division president. “The Florida Cup matches are highly competitive, and the events are especially great for kids and family groups – our involvement resonates with our current and future Vacation Home customers.”

Venues for the 2018 Florida Cup include Orlando City Soccer Stadium and UCF’s Spectrum Stadium in Orlando, Fla.
